It's the little things that take us by surprise and make us feel like we really do actually belong here. For example...this morning Donovan and I took our driver's test for the license we're required to have in order to legally drive in Italy. We spent several hours last night frantically memorizing road signs. And naturally, there was a little friendly competition when it came time to take the test. Although in the end there was no point to the competition - we both ended up with perfect scores. And most importantly, we're both legally able to drive now! One step closer to feeling at home here.
Other small steps that are making us feel at home? For one, getting ready to move into our house in six days!
